Hand Crocheted Baby Beanies

We Went Camping 2 Months ago for a week and I wanted something productive to do, as I can't just sit around and do nothing. My husband says it relaxing, but I just go nuts.. LOL
So I decided to take some Patterns with me and some yarn and I planned to crochet my youngest a beanie, but I couldn't stop there once I had started.
So I have all these baby beanies I have crocheted, So I have decided to Start Listing them on My website.

My main products you will find on my website are mostly made to order and Personalized.
I started My Personalized T-shirts back in 2006 when one of my customers specially requested her daughters Name on a Shirt, She kindly sent me a photo (below) that I could use and the rest is history. Thank you so much Cathy!!!



I have since made hundreds and have designed and made many variations.

My very first post!!!

Hi to all,

Welcome to my blog!
I have been considering starting a blog for a while now, but just never knew what I would say on it.

I have finally found a reason,
Karousel Kids my children's clothing business will be undergoing quite a few changes this year and I would like to use my blog to keep all my past, present and future customers up to date with these changes, PLUS run some free giveaways!!!!
I would also like to take this opportunity for you to get to know me,
The one behind Karousel Kids.

My name is Kristine and I turned 31 this week, March 3rd.
I am married and have 2 Beautiful Boys:

Deegan Knox age 4 & Tahan James age 7



I've been sewing since I was a kid (dolls clothes), My teenage years saw me sewing my own clothes, and although I still do,(when I make the time) I've always had a passion for baby clothes!
After I finished high school, I did a few TAFE courses in sewing and pattern making, and after a small business course I started Karousel Kids in 1999.

I had a small shop on the sunshine coast for awhile, but the cost of keeping it open was 2 high, So I went back to the Markets.
Up until late 2001 when Tahan was born, I kept my registered name Karousel Kids but for about 3 years until after Deegan was born I was only making there clothes.
In 2005 I found Ebay. a great start, but the fees where a turn off.
So I started my own website!!
